I had a moment to chat with vocalist Vincent Bennett of The Acacia Strain, about the new album Gravebloom, set to drop on July 30,2017. We talked about the album and what we can best take away from the lyrics. We also discussed the making of and writing process of the album and what we can expect to see moving forward for the band.

With their recent release of their debut EP, Black Smoke Rising, there is nothing small about the emotional evoking, oh-so-swoon worthy sound of Greta Van Fleet.
Valleys is a band of five guys from Clayton, North Carolina. Jayson Mitchell (vocals), Robert Meikle (drums), Rj Riggle (guitar), Will Shoe (guitar), Nick Raimondi (bass) produce a mix of clean and rough vocals coupled with hard hitting instrumentals.
These five young men from Jersey may have a new name, but the merciless barrage of metal reigned down like a familiar firestorm. I was able to catch up with the guys before the show and they were cool enough to talk with me about their name change, tour, and growing up together.

After just a year of writing and recording, Miss May I set out on a long-awaited Shadow’s Inside Tour to support their new album release this month. I caught up with vocalist Levi Benton and vocals/guitarist Ryan Neff before the show for a brief interview about their new album, tour, and signing to their new label Sharptone Records.
