Since a child Mike was always told he couldn't sing, after being cut from choir and given mediocre claps at his fourth grade talent show where he so gracefully sang Ushers My Way, he became focused on training his vocals to become what they are today, very sub par.
But with witty and conscious penmanship, Soulful/beat knocking instrumentals (mostly made from an iphone), and most importantly, HEART! Mike Damn has found his voice, sound, and spirit with his very first EP most appropriately titled RnWannaB.
Unwind and let Mike harmonize his thoughts to your ear waves.
Best for going to sleep, or in the mornings before school/work.
High chances of Inspiration, hope, and love.

Tonight (August 26th) Tommy Green Jr's debuting his fascinating and worldly video for the song Sand in My Sheets!
He stopped by to chat about it with Colin Sweets, and give us a taste of the tune (featuring a rhythm cameo by Sweets).
Grammy Award Winning Artist and longtime Derek Trucks Band drummer and current Royal Southern Brotherhood, Yonrico Scott serves up a Latin Bossa Nova original song in the style of Joao Gilberto and Stan Getz's classic Grammy Album of the Year. This song features the guitar stylings of Grant Green Jr. and Laura Reed on vocals. This is the full version of the song.
@chuckgreenjr generously offered to re-mix this song for me and I am very pleased with the result!
This recording of my setting of William Shakespeare's Sonnet 73 features Mezzo-Soprano Elana Cowen (elanacowen.com), EWQL Symphonic Orchestra Solo Cello and Bösendorfer 290 piano.
Elana completed her Post-Graduate Certificate and M.M. in Vocal Performance at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. She recently performed Tisbe in La Cenerentola with the Pocket Opera and hailed as "boasting a fine voice and a special flair for character" by the San Francisco Examiner.
Ms. Cowen has performed with many companies in the Bay Area, including Opera San Jose, Philharmonia Baroque, MasterWorks, Bay Area Classical Harmonies, Bay Area Children's Theater and the San Francisco Lyric Opera to name a few.
Many thanks to Chuck for creating a beautiful mix!
