This album wasn't made to sound great. This album wasn't meant to put me in the limelight, or try to make an attempt to enter the music business. This album was meant to break a perfectionist. Every song was recorded on a phone, and in every case except alkaline, was recorded live. Minimalist Loser is currently comprised of one bass player who had an overdrive pedal, a chorus pedal, and a loop pedal. None of the songs were altered from their original recording, except alkaline, in which the vocals were added later. Only 2 songs (final goodbye and alkaline) have vocals, and 1 (final goodbye) of those songs was almost entirely improvised on the spot. The only instrument used was a bass that I got about 4 years ago when I started playing and a $50 combo amp I got on Craigslist. This album will be my first album ever to be created, and each song was almost entirely improvised on the spot while recording. This album is also big for me because I am accepting my faults. If you listen, you will hear the obvious faults, some of which sound good, and most sound horrible. This album goes out to all who have said, "One day, I am going to do _______." Up until today, I was one of those people. Now I can say, "I did it." Never give up on your dreams, no matter how great or insignificant. Even if the result wasn't perfect or what you expected, you can learn from that and better yourself for the next time. Just listen to this music with a clear mind. Then as it plays, think. Think about anything, and go with it as the music plays. Don't think about the music, it's not very good. Just think about you.
